Investigation Into Voter Registration Fraud

It is wrong to allow any registration to be done by "party"-paid" individuals or to allow any special voting priviledges to any group of citizens. ID and registered residence are a minimum to protect citizens, our local gov. and our future. Anything else is just party led rigging - which we will see a lot of I believe this year. Sorry, but I take voting seriously and follow campaigns - checking facts etc. Is my vote to be annulled because someone is "signed up & bussed in" to feed the ballot boxes for favors, not thought-through responsible citizen behavior? Is that what these ACORN people call a "right"? Is that what our founders meant for this nation?

Wow! Way to go there Mr. Balink. "Radical Liberal Groups" comment from a publicly elected official. Are you serious? But we also know there are just an equal amount of Radical Religous Cult Groups performing the same activity in the Name of God. Much like the terrorists who do it in the name of Allah. So, you sir, should not comment and keep your political views to yourself and respect your position in publc office.

Yeah, let's go after those immigrants who are trying to elect a black man! And then we'll blame the democrats for stealing the election and rigging the machines. These are probably illegals that are hoping to get O'bama in office. Talk about change. They need to hold the offenders accountable. Guess it's just another way to break the law. No other laws apply this more than likely won't either. People should have to verify legal registration to vote, those that can't have no rights.

In the first Juan Trujillo-Mike Salas matchup dor state representative in southern Colorado, they found election fraud in Juan Trujillo's (D) favor. Several hundred people in the Catholic cemetery in Trinidad had dutifully cast their votes for Mr Trujillo. In 2000 The United States Supreme Court ruled that Al Gore's (D) attempt at a selective recount in Florida violated the U.S. Constitution by a vote of 7-2. The remedy was to let the existing vote stand as there was not enough time for a full recount. The vote was 5-4. It's amazing how the only two attempts (one succeeeded, one failed) at stealing the vote were done by Democrats. Remember the old Democratic Party admonition, "Vote Ealy. Vote often."

You should be ashamed that you "reported" this outrageous circumvention of our right to vote by someone who calls Democratic efforts to resurrect the two party system in El Paso County "radical liberals." The tide is changing in this county. Don't be ignorant like the GT, and lose track of the people who will pay your bills. This effort by the County Clerk should be closely monitored by the media - not applauded as your "news" anchors seemingly did last night. Shame.

The term "Radical Liberal Groups" is offensive and childish. Mr Balink needs to keep his personal political views to himself, thats just unprofessional. We did not vote him in to spout NeoCon propoganda, we voted him in to run the clerk office. Besides, how do we know it was a "radical Liberal group?" does he have solid proof? I hope someone picks up on this, I dont appreciate that kind of rhetoric made by our civic leaders. If he wants to talk like Rush Limbaugh, then maybe he should resign and take a talk show.

It seems that this discussion keeps coming back. And the only solution is to require proper documentation to register to vote. After all, it's the law that you must be a US Citizen, so why not be required to prove it? Only then will this issue go away and we can focus on other things such as whether machines designed specifically to count ballots can actually count . . .

Notice how it says “radical liberal groups”? That’s code to Republicans that the culprits are Democrats. You know those awful democrats are always trying to steal elections. That’s why God never lets them get away with it and puts a Republican (true Christians) in power. You know Republicans are all good, honest God-fearing people and how ridiculous it is to suggest they would ever steal and election.
