Colorado Springs police this weekend released the names of two people who were killed in two motorcycle accidents occurring just two hours apart.

Both accidents happened on Friday after 5 p.m.

39 year old Corin Kanne was riding on his new Kawasaki motorcycle when he went off the road and collided into a power pole.

Colorado Springs Police Lieutenant Steve Tobias says a witness who saw Kanne before the crash says he wasn't speeding or driving recklessly.

An autopsy is being conducted.

42 year old Darren Steele was killed in the second accident when the motorcycle he was on skidded off the lane and was stuck by a sport utility vehicle.

A woman who was also on the motorcycle was killed.

Police have NOT released her name.

The driver of the SUV and a passenger who was in that vehicle were treated for minor injuries.
