A 41-year-old Pueblo man who killed a mother in front of her children has been sentenced to 61 years in prison.
Tomas Rios had pleaded guilty to second-degree murder, second-degree assault, and three counts of menacing with a deadly weapon.
He stabbed 34-year-old Jeanette Bobian to death on March 4 of last year in the house they shared.
Bobian's three daughters, ages 12, 13 and 14 witnessed the stabbing. When the 13-year-old tried to intervene he slashed her hand.
