Have you ever wandered into a restaurant's kitchen just to see how clean it was? Now you only need to sit down at the computer and visit the El Paso County Health Department's website. There you'll see what code violations inspectors have found.

Officials say this new website is a great tool, "The public being educated on what they can do to not have a foodbourne illness in their own family." That's according to Mike Boyle, 11 News Restaurant Connoisseur. He said he thought the program would have a minimal impact, used only as one piece of the dining decision pie.

The Health Department says most restaurants look forward to having the results made public via the Web. It's a way to show their customers the job they're doing.
