Marines-Iraq Investigation

American troops in Iraq will be getting additional training on moral and ethical standards on the battlefield.

The order from the top U.S. general in Iraq comes as the military looks into whether Marines intentionally killed unarmed Iraqi civilians.

Meantime, a Washington Post report says a military investigation will conclude some officers gave their superiors false testimony about the deaths of Iraqi civilians at Haditha last November.

The killings, in which victims included women and children, followed a bomb attack on a military convoy that killed a Marine.

A commander says, "The challenge for us is to make sure the actions of a few do not tarnish the good work of the many."
