The Small Business Administration offers Military Reservist Economic Injury Disaster Loans for up to $1.4 million to companies.

So far, three Colorado businesses, including Digital Metropolis in Denver, have been approved for loans of $335,000 each.

Many small businesses are struggling as key employees also in the reserves leave for duty. Business plummets at small medical practices when one of the few doctors leaves. And self employed accountants and attorneys suddenly find they cannot pay the bills with the reduced military salary.
