Dog The Bounty Hunter's son was arrested over the weekend in Pueblo.

The reality TV star's son, 36-year-old Christopher Hecht, has been living in Pueblo since April to be closer to his 19-month old son.

Early Saturday, Hecht was arrested on suspicion of third degree assault after allegedly punching a blind man outside Zippers bar on South Union Avenue.

His father, Duane "Dog" Chapman, even brought a fugitive into the Pueblo Jail over the weekend, but still would not bail out his son.

"Remember that family comes before anything, just like Dog said. And I hope that maybe he'll see this and know that I'm his oldest son and he needs to try and come help me out," says Hecht.

The victim is reportedly doing okay. And Hecht is being held in the Pueblo County Jail on $7,500 bond.

Good on you Dog leave him there to learn his lesson. Richard just so you know Christopher is not one of the sons who has been on the show with Dog, he's one of the ones who sold false B.S to the National Enquirer you'd think he'd have some of that money left for bond.

Dog use to make me sick with his "the lord will save you my brother" B.S. but now I kind of have respect for him in the fact that hes holding his son accountable for his actions...good work!

I AGREE WITH EVERYONE WHEN THEY SAY LEAVE HIM THERE.MY MOM LEFT ME HANGING WHEN I WAS IN TROUBLE AND I HAD TO GROW UP AND FIGURE OUT I WAS RESPONSIBLE FOR MY OWN ACTIONS, THE ONLY PROBLEM IS I WAS A TEENAGER, WHAT THE HECK, 39? LAY OFF THE ALCOHOL GUY, ITS NOT WORKIN FOR YA!

He won't enable his son, good for you Dog! You do love your son because he needs tough love. If he doesn't appreciate what you're doing or has the brains/maturity for it he'll never get it and your helping society as well by keeping the rest of us safe. For the son, come on, a blind man? What kind of MAN beats up a blind person? It's as bad as the guy, excuse me...BOY, who beats up a child or a woman! It's pathetic. If you want a real challenge to prove your manhood, you should've smacked your dad around and seen your sorry buns on the ground. So sad. Wise/grow up, your dad is doing you a favor and loves you

I'd leave that idiot in jail to rot. You'd think after him having been on tv and making all that money that he could afford a simple 75 hundred dollar bond. What a joke he is. We don't need more idiots like him in this state causing problems.

I agree with everyone this shows that dog is a good person and wants his son to learn a lesson.

If a bounty hunter won't bail out his own son..... Kinda makes you think, may be his son is a high risk. And people it's called a reality show. More in the news the more you will watch.

Being a parent I pray that Dog doesnt "bail" his son out but makes him accountable for his actions. if someone would have bailed Dog when he was younger He wouldnt be as strong willed as He is today tough love is the hardest and best love my prayers are with them

Let him rot! Here you got this far changing your life and your knucklehead son who is 36 wants to hit a Blind person? What the heck is wrong with him? He cant fight someone who can see? He needs to rot so he can see!

LEAVE ALL THEM ALONE

Maybe his father is not enabling his bad behavior. Sounds like the city should shut the bar down it seems to be a troubled establishment with an awful lot of violence.

How are you gonna punch a blind man? What a sissy I say leave him in jail for acting like a girl.

Posted by: Janice Location: Kansas City Mo on Sep 19, 2008 at 04:29 PM
If you did something wrong, why does he think daddy should bail him out? He doesn't even go by dad's last name so What's up with that? Hitting anyone is not okay. He's old enough to know better and take care of himself.

Family comes first is right. That is why he is leaving you in jail. If a family member bailed you out every time you get in trouble would you truly learn anything. Learn from your mistakes, sit it out in jail. If you can't do the time, don't do the crime.
