Scientists have made their predictions about the upcoming hurricane season.
And while it may not match last year's record, it's forecast to be an active one.
Meteorologists are predicting six major hurricanes and 16 named storms.
They say the Atlantic Ocean has less warm water to fuel potential storms.
National Hurricane Center director Max Mayfield says if there's anything good that can come out of last year's storms, it would be a "culture of preparedness" -- because long-term forecasts indicate busy seasons are likely to be the norm for the next decade.
