An elderly jailed inmate is reportedly the one who told the FBI that Jimmy Hoffa is buried on a Michigan farm once owned by a Hoffa associate.
The Detroit Free Press reports the federal inmate gave investigators information that led to dozens of agents swarming the farm with heavy equipment.
The paper reports officials aren't saying just what Donovan Wells told investigators, but do say he passed a polygraph.
Archaeologists, anthropologists and heavy equipment were at the horse farm Thursday searching for Hoffa's remains.
The former Teamsters boss has been missing for more than 30 years.
An FBI official says he expects the search to drag on for weeks.
