For the first time in nine months, 280 Fort Carson soldiers are sleeping in their own beds.
They returned to the Mountain Post on Tuesday, after being deployed to Asia.
11 News was there when one soldier got to meet his baby for the first time.
"I don't really have words for it, pretty much a life changing experience right now. I don't really know what to tell you," said Spc. Paul Frisby.
A group of high school students did what they could to help the soldiers who came home.
The "Warriors for Warriors" from Community Prep Charter School don't know any of the soldiers who returned.
They told us they just came to the homecoming to do what they could to say thank you.
