The Colorado Springs Police Department and ICE officials raided a local business Thursday morning.

Federal officials swarmed Spectranetics and are raiding the contents of the business. All employees have been asked to leave the building and were not allowed to take any electronics with them, including laptops, blackberries or any other electronic.

The exact reason for the raid is unknown at this time.

Officials sent out this press release:

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) on Thursday jointly executed search warrants at two locations owned by SPECTRANETICS in Colorado Springs, Colo.

Since this is early into an ongoing investigation, no further information is available on this case at this time.

CS will never be New New Mexico. It may look like it for awhile but that's about to change. Some have abused the system but that to is about to change. The problem with CS is it does have an abundance of illegals. That's why people no longer view it as an ideal place to live. Doh!

Any news on the reason for the raid? I have heard rumors that the CEO is also in custody.
