Obama Campaign Hits Back Against Palin Comments Save Email Print

Barack Obama's top strategist is firing back at Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin.

David Axelrod says Palin's prime-time convention address Wednesday night was dishonest about Obama's record.

Palin and other Republican speakers sought to define Obama as untested and inexperienced, making light of his past work as a community organizer in Chicago. But Axelrod says "for everyday people," that "seems like real work."

He went on to say "There wasn't one thing that she said about Obama or what he's proposing that is true."

Axelrod says the Republicans squandered an opportunity to promote their own candidate by focusing on Obama.

And of Palin's attacks, he says "for someone who makes the point that she's not from Washington, she looked very much like she would fit in very well there."

Sounds like some of you have been brained washed. It's the only thing that makes sese when it comes to supporting him. You need to check your history, facts and data before you attempt to make people believe he is anything but what he is. Kay thanks for your postings. You are accurate and you are sane. O'Bama would be the anti Christ not Jesus! Only anti Americans would vote for or support O'Bama.

Bash Jesus? Give me a break. Reread her comment again and maybe you'll understand her point. And yes, by all means, look at the founding fathers of this country for guidance. However, you'll notice, not only did they not include their personal religious beliefs in the laws of this nation, they specifically declared there should be NO STATE SPONSORED RELIGION, and NO RELIGIOUS TEST FOR HOLDING OFFICE. You see, many of the founders were fleeing religious persecution in England. They understood that State sponsor religion sucks when it is not your religion. That is why SEPARATION OF CHURCH AND STATE is the law of this great nation. (KNOW YOUR HISTORY!!!). I say the biggest threat to this nation is religious wackos - And it appears to me, the majority call themselves "defenders" of this nation.

its sad that so many of millions of dollars are being wasted on a campain. and in my opinion it doesnt matter who wins the country is still going downhill FAST... out of our country its pretty sad that are 2 choices are mccain and obama

Wake up huh. Obama has Muslim ties with his brother in Kenya. His brother tried to overthrough the government and FAILED! Obama has wanted nothing more than to be the President ever since he entered the Senate three years ago. Also, you might want to do your homework on his attendance/voting record in the Senate.
