Update: Soldier Death

The soldier from Nevada who was killed in a rollover accident during training this weekend was a married man who had been with the Army since 1999.

Sergeant Daniel M.-Quaine, an Iraq war veteran, was killed on Sunday when the Humvee he was in rolled on a rough tank trail near a training range on the south side of the Fort Carson.

The driver of the vehicle suffered minor injuries.

He was treated at Evans Army Community Hospital and released.

The Army says Quaine, who was from Winnemucca, Nevada, was an infantry soldier with the Second Brigade Combat Team.

The 25-year-old was decorated with the Army Commendation Medal for his service in Iraq.

Quained was assigned to the Second Brigade in 2003.

The Army did not release any further information.
