Snow is expected to develop for our Monday afternoon and overnight hours. Bands of heavier snow are possible..and something we will be monitoring throughout the day today. A Winter Storm Watch has been issued for far northern El Paso County where ~4" are possible by Tuesday morning. Also ahead, a High Wind Watch for much of southeast Colorado from 4-11am Tuesday morning as wind gusts could reach up to 60 mph. Colorado Springs Police are warning people of a string of daytime burglaries that have taken place in the in the Cragmor area. Police say since April, 10 burglaries and one attempted burglary happend there, all between the hours of 12:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays. According to police, the burglars pick their targets by first knocking on doors. If someone answers, they ask for someone who doesn't live there then leave the area. They avoid houses with dogs. Based on reports, the burglars enter by breaking windows or through lower-level rear doors, taking jewelry and electronics once inside. Based on the latest attempted burglaries, there are 3 suspects, a white male, black male and hispanic male. Anyone with information about these burglaries is asked to call police at 444-7000. You can also leave an anonymous tip by calling Crime Stoppers at 634-STOP in Colorado Springs or 542-STOP in Pueblo.
