Two Walgreens pharmacies were robbed at gunpoint Monday in Colorado Springs. Authorities have not said whether or not there is a link between the crimes.

The first robbery happened at the Walgreens store at the intersection of Fillmore and North Nevada in the Springs around 3:45 a.m. Monday.

In that crime, the witness said a man used a black handgun to steal an undisclosed amount of narcotics from the overnight clerk.

The second armed robbery happened Monday night, around 9:15. This time the Walgreens located at the corner of Dublin Blvd. and North Union was targeted by a man carrying a silver revolver.

A search for the suspect by police was later unsuccessful. The suspect in this case also got away with an undisclosed amount of narcotics.

If you know anything about either of these Walgreens robberies, notify authorities by calling Crime Stoppers at 634-STOP. Your anonymous tip could earn you a cash reward.

Now you know they have to wait until someone turns this person in before they can make an arrest.
