Here's a hint, dad.
A new survey says 62 percent of Americans who plan something special for mom will take her out to eat on Mother's Day.
The survey by the National Restaurant Association says 59 percent will celebrate over dinner, 51 percent say it'll be lunch and 22 percent will opt for breakfast out.
Evidently some folks plan a combination of dining experiences.
The survey says younger adults are more likely than older ones to celebrate with a meal out.
Also, 67 percent of people living in households of three or more are likely to go out for a special meal, as opposed to 41 percent of single person households.
