Iraqis have been seeing the militant blooper video released by the U.S. military yesterday.
The tape shows al-Qaida-in-Iraq leader Abu Musab al-Zarqawi fumbling with a machine gun and wearing American sneakers.
It was aired across Iraq today.
Some Iraqis say they hope the video hurts the powerful rebel's image.
One Shiite government worker says if the video is genuine, it shows the militant leader "lacks the basic knowledge of weapons that any soldier should have."
But others say it's just U.S. propaganda and ask why al-Zarqawi hasn't been caught if he's such a bumbler.
A Sunni man in Baghdad doubts the video is significant.
He says the U.S. hasn't caught the militant because "they need an al-Qaida connection to justify their occupation of Iraq."
