After a mild Saturday, temperatures to finish the weekend will be MUCH colder! A system to our west pushes into SE Colorado overnight. Snow showers will be possible by early Sunday morning across the I-25 corridor with a change to rain and snow showers through the afternoon. Accumulation should be minimal as most moisture looks to be light and temperatures will warm into the upper 30s and 40s through the afternoon. The main impact will be the cold along with winds gusting up to 40 mph at times. Click on the 'Weather' tab for more...
The case of an Aurora girl reported missing and presumed dead will go to a grand jury, which is being formed to look into the child's disappearance.
Sources close to the probe say prosecutors will use the grand jury venue in an attempt to gather critical information and compel witnesses to testify.
Authorities are planning an afternoon news conference to announce what they'll only say is a "major development" in the case.
The father of six-year-old Aarone Thompson reported the girl missing last November, but police soon said they believed the child was dead.
Thompson and his live-in girlfriend, Shelley Lowe, are considered "persons of interest" in the case, but have NOT talked with police.
