Police Investigate Indecent Exposure Cases

Colorado Springs Police are investigating a number of cases of men exposing themselves in public.

The latest case was Monday, May 1. A parent saw a man sitting with his pants down, exposing himself to children. He was near Moffat Circle and Murray Boulevard, near Wilson Elementary. He was driving a red four-door car with Colorado license plates.

Another recent case was April 26, in the area of Research Parkway and Union. The man, driving a white van, told children he was looking for a dog before exposing himself.

Police think they could be looking for as many as three men for recent reports of indecent exposure.

Detectives who work in the Sex Crimes/Crimes Against Children Unit say the pattern could escalate, where a man could physically harm a child.

If you have information, call Crime Stoppers at 634-STOP in Colorado Springs or 542-STOP in Pueblo. If your anonymous tip leads to an arrest, you could earn up to one thousand dollars cash.
