Driver Refuses To Pull Over For Police, Abandons Car In An Open Field
Colorado Springs Police have called off the search for a suspect who abandoned his car in an open field, running away.

Colorado Springs Police say a white male refused to stop when officers tried to pull him over.

Springs police say the chase started at I-25 and Garden Of The Gods. Police chased after the car until the driver abandoned it in a field near Centennial and Fillmore.

The driver disappeared. The vehicle was towed and authorities are no longer looking for the suspect.

Who and why the suspect fled is unknown at this time.

I think it was a green cherokee. It ran a red light off I-25/GOG, hit the car in front of me, bounced back and continue going east on GOG. It's too bad the police didn't catch him. I feel bad for the guy in front of me.

I have to agree with Scott. However, CSPD, isnt the ONLY dept. that has worthless officers!!
