The Pueblo Police Department will hold a meeting on Wednesday night to notify the public of the upcoming release of a sexually violent predator.
The meeting is mandatory by law when someone meeting all the criteria of a sexually violent predator is scheduled to be released. This will be the first of its kind in the city of Pueblo and only the fifth one ever in the state of Colorado.
After receiving a psychological evaluation, it has been determined that this person could be a risk to strike again, which is why the public needs to be aware of his release.
At the meeting, the Police Department will inform the public of the man’s identity and the exact address where he will be living. They will also inform the public of their intention to monitor the man almost 24 hours a day.
When: Wednesday May 3rd 7 PM
Where: Pueblo Convention Center
Who: Pueblo Police Department
Why: To inform the public on the impending release of a sexually violent predator
