Meridian Rd. Reopens After Two Days
Meridian Road at Woodmen Road reopened Friday morning at 6 a.m. after a gas line explosion closed the road Wednesday.

Meridian Road reopened Friday morning at 6 a.m. after a gas line explosion closed the road Wednesday.
The El Paso County Sheriff's Office says a gas line exploded Wednesday night east of Colorado Springs in Falcon, on Meridian near Woodmen Road.
The Falcon Fire Department extinguished the resulting fire but remained on scene until Friday morning working to re-construct the gapping hole in the road.
No one was injured in the explosion.
