A system producing heavy snow in the central mountains arrives in SE Colorado overnight Sunday into Monday bringing moisture, windy conditions and colder temperatures. Snow showers will be possible across the I-25 corridor to start the day. This system will produce bands of snow through the day Monday. Areas under these bands will see periods of heavy snowfall which, with windy conditions, could create travel difficulties. A day without an Immigrant. That's the theme for tomorrow's anti-immigration bill rallies across the United States. Immigration organizations are encouraging Immigrants to leave work and boycott all American businesses to prove that Immigrants contribute a lot to the economy.
Protesters are encouraged to leave work and pull their kids out of school. Also as a sign of solidarity they are asking all participants to wear a white T-shirt with political messages written on them.
While authorities don't know how many protesters to expect, many immigrants say they won't be attending because taking time off of work simply isn't in their best interest.
Some businesses have decided to shut down altogether for the entire day because a majority of their workers plan to call in.
