A fast-moving brush fire has destroyed at least one home and damaged several others in a neighborhood in Reno, Nevada.

Evacuations were ordered after the fire broke out Monday afternoon. Reno fire spokesman Steve Frady says there are no reports of injuries. He says dozens of firefighters are battling the blaze, which is sending up a plume of black smoke visible from about five miles away in downtown Reno.
