Police say the rainy weather Saturday contributed to a rollover accident on I-25. It happened between Glennagle and the north entrance of the Air Force Academy and snarled traffic in both directions around 5:00 p.m.

Officials tell 11 News this SUV hydro-planed on the wet roadway and rolled over. No other vehicles were involved.

Two people were transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.

I agree. SLOW DOWN!!! Rainy weather did not cause it, speeding/negligence did. I am glad the people are ok.

WRONG: THE 'HEAVY RAIN' DIDN'T CAUSE THE ACCIDENT....DRIVER NEGLIGENCE/STUPIDITY DID.

"Rainy Weather Causes Rollover Accident On I-25" No, the rainy weather DID NOT cause the accident. The driver of the SUV was travelling too fast for the conditions, otherwise the vehicle would not have hydroplaned.

Going too fast? Following too close? Driving with cruise control? Glad they're ok.
