I have a big problem with spending tax dollars for booklets (or interpreters) that must explain Constitutional rights to illegal aliens. As a law abiding U.S. citizen, I find this most offensive.

Has anybody actually seen this booklet? According to media reports, all it does is inform immigrants of their rights. If that's all it does, what's the problem? I won't go into whether or not those rights are deserved. That's a completely different issue that need to be taken up with our congressmen. I simply want to know what all is in this booklet. If it's nothing more than explaining rights, I don't see the problem. It would be a problem if we didn't explain a person's rights and then tried to prosecute them. You'd have every ambulance chasing lawyer and amnesty group coming out of the cracks to make their crusade and establish legitimacy to their causes, the perp would go free, and time and money would be wasted. So, really, what's all the fuss about? Something tells me there is more to this booklet than the media is reporting.

Yes, Ed, you are full of it. Are you perhaps another exploiter of illegal aliens, like so many criminal Americans are? It is pur BULL, that Americans receive ANY benefit by 20-30 million people here who drain the social services Americans paid into, for Americans. They are supplying us with NOTHING CHEAP,ED, NOTHING AT ALL. The employers take all of the profits Ed. I have never seen hotel rates go down because illegal aliens are employes in that industry, but I have seen the stock on hotels and Inns go up. Hmmm. I have never seen construction go down in price, but I have seen Construction Companies get super-rich. In fact, many don't have disability insurance for the illegal aliens they hire and when they get hurt tell them to go to the county or city emergency rooms, which are then soon bankrupt. Give me a break Ed, your still spreading the lying El Presidente and corrupt Congress and Senates message of "jobs Americans won't do", which should have been,jobs we won't do for chump change

Okay so all of you guys are saying that you would rather have Companys take there plants to Mexico then to keep them here in United States where we can profit you guys are real smart. The only jobs there are taking from all of you guys are jobs that nobody wants I can really see A white collar working in the fields. Plz you all need to get a life. If illegal aliens want to avoid arrest, they need only come onto Ft. Carson. We have hundreds of illegal aliens (construction, landscape, house painters) working here. They literally have free reign and immunity on base. Ft. Carson, sacrificing our security by breaking the law, to save a dime.

The violence will start here. These illegals have no right to be here, we have enough slums, and inferiors who breed like rabbits. Illegals coming to your city soon to turn it into a Mexican ghetto. Katrina was really bad and NO,LA had its problems but nothing like now. Hopefully, the killing will just be among the usual groups. Maketa says he DIDN'T KNOW the handouts, detailing how to avoid a raid, WOULD BE INCLUDED." I support Terry and his team 100%!! YET, this must not happen again. This is just NOT RIGHT. AND, it's against the law...hello?? I feel Lt. Sevene is just dancing and making excuses rather than just stating "we screwed up"!!! Hey Ed, lot's of words and liberal rhetoric to try to spin this issue BUT, it's "LEGAL IMMIGRANTS" who are responsible for this country's success, not the illegals! "Open immigration policy"...??? I wonder how long it will be, before the liberals and stupid conservatives that are allowing the massive illeglity going on their state, move away from the State when it becomes intolerabel--like they always do. There are many people living in Colorado, that moved there from California , because they didn't stop illegal immigration in California either. How cowardly have American citizens really become?

I don't think he's paying for them I think he is one of them. Illegals are about "ENTITLEMENT" but because they don't speak English they don't seem to get it. Sadly enough they are getting away with it. You are right when you talk about the medical, they are sapping the resources, pay nothing and are reaking benefits that Americans can not get. I know if we don't have insurance when seen in the E.R. we are going to get a bill if we can pay it or not. What takes the cake is the amount of them that are here illegally, have a baby and are allowed to stay and before you know it their entire clan have arrived, 30 illegals set up home in section 8 housing and well you know the rest... I even seen a sign in front of an apartment that said "Mexican Parking Only". The can't speak english but they sure know about arrogance. They need to put those wild animals out east at our borders!

aww how I always love the comment sections on illegeals. well lets start by the name ILLEGALS it says it itself they here unlawfully. plus as talked about before not only do they take the jobs from americans, they also seem to get free health insurance that us hard working taxpayers cant even get. we pay taxes cant afforrd or get health insurance and were from this country, and they all wander why we are all so bitter.

Ed, next time you wonder why a hospital stay is so expensive check the amount they have to write off from illegal debt. Even the people working at the accounting office point out that over 95% of bills by illegals will never be collected, but they still have to provide the same, if not better, service to these leeches. But if you are a legal citizen they will send you to collections right away. As for jobs there are plenty of welfare users that should be taken of the government bottle and put to work, just think how much that would save. Then you can figure out how many diseases and STD's they bring over, not to mention those anchor babies which happen to get born as soon as they get here. Illegals - don't need them - don't want them!

Ed, you are full of it. These people are taking out our middle economy. They are taking jobs because they will work for nothing from our country born and making legimate aide harder to obtain for people who are rightly here and need it. They suck the life out of getting free medical care in emergency rooms. They are not even legally here. Um, that's why they call them illegal. I'm pretty usre The Statue of Liberty doesn't tell people to ilegally live in our country and not even care enough to learn to speak OUR language. Maybe you are one of those dishonest people paying them out of pocket for nothing so you don't have to hire legal tax abiding workers ??
