Neighboring Kansas and Nebraska are reporting more mumps this year and Colorado doctors are concerned.

So far Colorado has reported only one case, and it usually gets three or four a year.

But Kansas has 33 cases and Nebraska 43.

Ken Gershman of the Colorado health department's communicable disease program says the state will notify doctors if new cases occur.
