Escaped "Spam King" Eddie Davidson lured his wife and three children into an SUV with promises of a gift and a final goodbye before turning himself in to authorities. Instead he drove his wife, and a 3-year-old daughter and himself to their deaths.

A 16-year-old teenage daughter from a previous marriage, who survived the attack, told investigators that Davidson fired a shot that grazed her neck. Her report was given to the Denver media.

Investigators say their initial work indicates so called "Spam King" Eddie Davidson tricked his wife into helping him escape from a low security federal prison, from where he went on to kill her and his 3-year-old daughter.

The Denver Post reported the deception. The Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office declined immediate comment.

Thirty-five-year-old Davidson was convicted of falsifying header information for a Texas company.
