Colorado Springs police say a woman came home from work and was attacked outside her apartment. That's when a neighbor saved the day.

Police say it happened just before 8:30 p.m. Thursday night at the Greencrest Apartments on Austin Bluffs just west of North Academy.

37-year-old Diem Ly tells 11 News that she and her daughter were getting out of their car when two men approached her, threw her to the ground and stole her purse.

A neighbor, William Fink, heard the commotion. He says he came outside and chased down the suspects- retrieving the purse and catching one crook, a 16-year-old. Another suspect is still on the loose.

He's described as a Hispanic male in his 30's. He got away with about 40-dollars in cash from Ly's purse.

I agree with Cinnamon! It is the sissy guys who pick on Women. They cant pick on REAL men because they are no match for a REAL man. A REAL man would slam the sissy to the ground and keep them there. We definatly need more ppl out there who will help a neighbor out! Thanks to the neighbor!

Radere, you're absolutely right; he'll probably say it was the other guys idea and he just went along with it because he's weak and a victim of bullying himself! But a jury will see through his story and hopefully, give him his expense paid vacation at one of our lovely detention facilities (that's the goal if found guilty). Good comments by all.
