Cop Car Hit By Suspected Drunk Driver
Police say one of their own was hit by a car while responding to a call for assistance Wednesday night.

Police say one of their own was hit by a car while responding to a call for assistance Wednesday night.

Police say the officer was driving on East Platte when a car pulled out of a driveway and tried to cross all three lanes of traffic, hitting the cruiser on its passenger side.

The officer was treated for minor injuries and released from the hospital.

The driver was arrested and charged on suspicion of drunk driving. A police investigation is ongoing.
