Today's rally brought people together at Memorial Park to support the U.S. military. Many protesters say their support of the troops does not mean they either support or don't support a war with Iraq, simply that they are behind the men and women willing to fight for our country.
Hundreds of people turned out for the rally.
Air Academy High School student, Creihton Daetwyler, organized the event. He says people should show their support for our men and women in uniform, regardless of why they are overseas.
The rally was a peaceful one, with only one police officer on hand for traffic control.
