Sheriff's deputies in Jefferson County say the man who fired shots inside a credit union Wednesday morning has turned himself in to police.

Jefferson County Sheriff's office spokeswoman Jacki Kelley says no injuries have been reported and it's not known if any money was stolen from the Bellco Credit Union.

She said everyone in the credit union was brought outside while SWAT team did final sweeps to look for other people.

A large group of SWAT team members were seen leaving the building just before 11 a.m.

Kelley says there are conflicting reports about whether a second suspect was inside the credit union.

Kelley says the suspect left in a car belonging to a credit union employee or patron. Kelley says the car is a 2006 silver Dodge van with Colorado plates -- that was found unoccupied nearby.

Authorities issued a reverse-911 alert to residents within a half-mile radius of the Bellco Credit Union.
