Authorities in Florida say a 4-year-old whose mother left him in a hot car in West Palm Beach has died.

The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office says the 29-year-old mother may not have known the boy was in the car. She dropped off children at a relative's house before going to a nail salon Saturday.

It's not yet know how long the boy was left in the car.

Someone made a 911 call later in the day to report the boy was not breathing. He was taken to Palms West Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The victim's name is not yet known.

i feel sadness for the mom-it was her wedding day....i can totally see a 4 yr old sneeking back into a car-in this instance it was an suv. i have an suv and 4 kids and i can see it-especially if maybe the kid was feeling left out or whatever with the moms mind on her wedding day. it was an accident-i'm not passing judgement on anyone-it could have just as easily of happened to me.

I have to admit when I first read this story I also thought that there is no way I could forget my child was there but I remember doing the same sort of thing when I was a kid. I pray to God that this was an accident. My heart is with the mother and the family. I can not imagine the pain of losing a child. My daughter is my life. The family is in my prayers.
