Continuing to track rain/snow showers throughout southeast Colorado this morning as wet, gloomy and cool conditions continue. If you are hitting the roads in the higher elevation (Teller/Fremont/Custer/ Monument) make sure you allow a little extra time as some roads may be a little snow covered. One of the eleven soldiers killed in Tuesday's Black Hawk helicopter crash was from Colorado.
Specialist Lucas V. Tripp of Aurora was on board the Army
helicopter when it crashed at a base in northern New York state
during a training mission. Only two soldiers survived.
Army investigators are on the scene, but heavy snow today is
making their work tougher.
