An Air Force Academy cadet has been order to be withdrawn from the service after he was convicted of using cocaine.
A court martial jury ruled on Wednesday that junior Ronald D. Occenad used cocaine in February 2005.
He faced up to five years in prison.
The sentence must be reviewed by Academy Superintendent Lieutenant General John Regni, who will determine whether the jury's decision should stand or to order a more lenient punishment.
Occenad was also charged with indecent assault against for allegedly kissing and groping a female cadet at a bar.
But prosecutors dropped that charge.
