He's been nicknamed Hal.
He's only the second coyote ever seen in New York's Central Park.
And he's finally been caught. Hal had dozens of police officers chasing him on foot and in a helicopter Wednesday. Authorities finally ended his visit to the park with a tranquilizer gun.
Hal's recovering and will be heading toward an upstate New York wildlife facility when he can travel.
The coyote is about a year old and weighs about 35 pounds.
He was first spotted in the park last Sunday but nobody's sure how long he'd been there.
The only other coyote sighting in the park was seven years ago.
That coyote now lives at the Queens Zoo.
