A historian and author says a young woman found dead nearly 52 years ago could have been a 24 year old woman from Denver.
Silvia Pettem says Jane Doe may be Katherine or Catherine Dyer, a furniture store elevator operator who was last seen on March 26th, 1954.
Doe's body was discovered on April 8th, 1954.
Last week, Boulder County sheriff's detective Steve Ainsworth said the killer might have been serial killer Harvey Glatman.
Glatman was accused of killing three young women in California and was executed there in 1959.
Ainsworth says Glatman was in Boulder ten years before Doe's slaying.
\Pettem says Glatman trolled dating clubs, and that Dyer who was recently separated from her husband lived near such an establishment.
