Police say they put a sex offender behind bars after a year long investigation. Julius Lehosky faces at least 40 counts of having child pornography and distributing it. He's posted bond and is back out in the community.
Police say he was downloading child pornography pictures from his home computer and then sharing those pictures with computer users around the world. "He was using peer to peer file sharing network. We found several videos of kids between 3 to 5 years old being sexually assaulted by adults. If that doesn't say enough, then I don't know what does," Det. Adam Romine with Colorado Springs Police said.
Lehosky posted his $10,000 bond and will appear in court Wednesday afternoon. “You have to worry about that kind of person because if they're not doing it themselves, they’re obviously interested in doing it, which could lead to something else."
And for parents especially, Wednesday night at 7pm, there is an internet safety meeting at the police headquarters on 705 South Nevada Avenue. They'll discuss how to keep your kids safe.
