Today is International Women's Day, and women held protests around the globe to mark the occasion.

In Denver, the women wore pink to help get their message across. "Code Pink'' signifies children in severe distress in hospitals. Protesters say the use of the color today is to express outrage about the impending suffering and death of children in Iraq.

The Red Earth Women's Alliance says more than half of Iraq's
population is under the age of 15. Rally participants say the bombing of Iraq would leave large numbers of infants and children dead.
