Construction is slated to begin this spring on a gondola at the Breckenridge Ski Resort after more than 20 years as an idea.
The four-stop gondola will be more than a mile long and rise 391 feet.
It'll require 25 towers and 143 eight-passenger cabins.
It'll have the capacity to ferry 3,000 skiers an hour between the parking lots to the bases of both Peak Seven and Peak Eight.
The town of Breckenridge will contributed 6.7million dollars toward the gondola's 17 million dollar cost.
The Shock Hill neighborhood, where the gondola will have a stop, will contributed $500,000.
