Arrest Warrant Reveals Gruesome Details On Cold Case

After 3 men are arrested in connection with the 2001 murder of 19 year old UCCS student Patricia Elliott, the arrest warrant is unsealed, revealing the gruesome details of the brutal murder.

In the warrant, Ben Gunvalsen, one of the three suspects, allegedly admitted to police what the three of them did to Elliott. He says they believed she was a drug snitch and “needed to be taken care of…”

Inside Elliott’s home, the documents say Christopher Allen used a dumbbell to “strike Elliott in the head several times.” The documents go on to describe that Ryan Krueger then grabbing a blanket and strangling her. Allen and Gunvalsen joined in. The confession says during Elliott’s final moments, she asked “Why are you doing this to me?” The body was dumped in the bathtub and the house was cleaned with bleach.

The three suspects are the same men police were looking at back then, but police say it took 5 years to get the evidence needed.

According to the arrest warrant, Gunvalsen confessed to being an accessory as part of a plea agreement. The other two face first degree murder charges.

Two of the three were Fort Carson soldiers. KKTV has learned, Ryan Krueger just got out of federal prison after being linked to a major ecstasy ring…a ring blamed for the deaths of two Colorado teens back in 2001.
