Updated: 05/14/2013 - I'm still focused on meeting my goal of doing a pull-up. And I'm almost there! But I'm always getting this question:
Rippetoe is scheduled to be buried at a memorial at 8 a.m.
His sister says the family also plans a memorial service in Colorado, but details aren't set yet.
The 27-year-old Rippetoe of Arvada and two other soldiers died April 4 at a checkpoint outside of Baghdad when they approached a car after a pregnant woman stepped out of the vehicle and began screaming in fear.
The U.S. Central Command says the car exploded, killing the soldiers and the woman.
