A system producing heavy snow in the central mountains arrives in SE Colorado overnight Sunday into Monday bringing moisture, windy conditions and colder temperatures. Snow showers will be possible across the I-25 corridor to start the day. This system will produce bands of snow through the day Monday. Areas under these bands will see periods of heavy snowfall which, with windy conditions, could create travel difficulties. Authorities say a British skier accused of knocking another skier into a tree and causing his death has hired a lawyer, Pamela Mackey, but has not posted 20-thousand dollars bond to get out of jail.
Authorities say 31-year-old Robert Wills of Plymouth was being
held in the Summit County jail Wednesday, after being arrested on
suspicion of felony first-degree assault and misdemeanor reckless
The lawyer says there's not been a decision yet on whether
charges will be filed.
Will was arrested Sunday at Breckenridge in the death of
56-year-old Richard Henrichs of Naperville, Illinois.
A tentative hearing was scheduled for March 28th but only if
charges are filed.
