Overnight a disturbance passes through parts of S Colorado... this will bring a push of moisture falling as rain in the Plains with a few late night/early morning showers possible in Pueblo. For the Palmer Divide, N & W El Paso Co. and Teller Co. it will fall as snow... bringing a few additional inches of accumulation in mainly between 1am and 6am, lingering into the mid morning. Manitou Elementary School is expected to reopen today after it was closed yesterday because an alleged methamphetamine lab was found in an apartment across the street.
The El Paso County Sheriff's Office found the lab after an anonymous tip.
Authorities say the lab was active, and a strong chemical smell was coming out of the residence.
School District 14 Superintendent Roy Crawford closed the school.
The ventilation system also was shut down to keep chemicals from getting into classrooms.
Thirty-nine-year-old John Hagge was arrested and faces at least five counts, including operating a methamphetamine lab within a thousand feet of a school.
