One man is dead and other is facing charges after a collision on a beginner run at Breckenridge Sunday afternoon.

Summit County sheriff's officials identified the dead skier as 56-year-old Richard Hendricks of Naperville, Illinois. Resort spokeswoman Kelly Ladyga says witnesses told the ski patrol that a man later identified as 31-year-old Robert Wills of England, bumped into Hendricks -- who then skied into a tree.

Sheriff's officials say Hendricks was not wearing a helmet. He was airlifted to Swedish Medical Center in Englewood where he died.

Wills was arrested on suspicion of first-degree assault and reckless endangerment. He was being held on $15,000 bond.
