An Amber Alert was cancelled this morning when a 21 month old boy was returned unharmed. Police say the toddler was missing for 19 hours.

21 month old Devon Wood's babysitter, 40 year old Susanne McNatt has been arrested and charged with child abuse and possession of drugs.

Police say McNatt had been providing day care for Devon for 8 months. They also say, she has no prior criminal record.

Devon's parents came to pick him up around 4:30 on Friday afternoon, to find both him and Ms. McNatt gone. That's when the Amber Alert was issued. McNatt returned to her home with Devon around 7:00am.

Sheriff's detectives say McNatt claims to have been stranded in the Black Forest area after running out of gas. She says that's where she spent the night until a good samaritan gave her some gas for her van this morning.

Detectives are looking to talk with the woman McNatt claims helped her. She is described as an older female, who was driving a truck in the Black Forest area Saturday morning.

If you have any information, you're asked to call the sheriff's office at 390-5555.
