A 44-year-old pastor from Ordway has received a four-year deferred sentence after pleading guilty to attempted sexual assault on a child.
Lucky Jerome Ashida was arrested in September, when he allegedly traveled to Pueblo to meet a 14-year-old girl he propositioned on the Internet with sex and drugs.
However, he was actually contacting an undercover Pueblo police detective.
Ashida was the pastor of the River of Life Church in Ordway until his arrest.
District Judge Scott Epstein also forbids Ashida from contacting his 16-year-old daughter, at least until he submits to a parental risk evaluation for sex offenders.
Ashida also must register as a sex offender, avoid alcohol, illegal drugs and guns and abstain from using the Internet.
He must complete 100 hours of community service.
