A standoff in Colorado Springs has ended with the suicide of the suspect.
It started Wednesday morning at the Park Apartment complex near Austin Bluffs and Academy.
Police say they tried to arrest 25-year-old Jeffery Lawrence on a warrant.
They say Lawrence then ran into the apartment of a friend.
Two people were in the apartment at the time. They eventually left. Police say they threw a hard-wire phone through a window, trying to get a better connection with Lawrence.
He shot himself in the head a short time later.
