An El Paso county man says he's happy to be alive Tuesday, after he was carjacked at gunpoint Monday night in the Wal-Mart Supercenter parking lot near Chelton and Academy. The carjacking happened about 9:30 Monday night.

Clyde Williams says he was just parking in a handicap spot when he was pulled from his green Chevy van. He says one man was holding a hand gun a foot from his face. He says there was a second man who threatened his life as well.

Williams says he did exactly what he was told. He watched as his car drove away, with his computer, class notes, checkbooks and address book inside.

He is handicapped and was parked in a handicap parking spot. He says he thinks he was targeted because he maybe an easier target and he drove a large vehicle.

"It makes me really angry that there are people out there that are basically being parasites on other people," said Williams.

Williams' van is a green 1999 Chevy Venture with Colorado License plate KAN-3003.

Anyone with information about this carjacking is asked to call crimestoppers at 634-STOP in Colorado Springs or 542-STOP in Pueblo.
