A day before President Bush is set to visit NREL in Golden, there's news that 32 jobs cut will be restored.
Members of Colorado's congressional delegation got word yesterday from energy officials.
Republican Congressman Bob Beauprez says efforts have been under way for a while to restore funding and save the jobs at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory.
The job cuts were announced earlier this month.
The lab initially faced up to 100 layoffs but the staff put off purchases and cut back on transportation and other expenses to keep as many jobs as possible.
The reductions were required when members of Congress diverted 28 million dollars in funding by earmarking the money for other energy-related projects.
Bush will visit the lab tomorrow morning.
